This is a gem in a small town in Northern IL. You won't be disappointed by the baked goods and ice cream!

Another great trip to the Coop today! Mom got a lemon raspberry cupcake and she said it was very good!

They make amazing cupcakes and cinnamon rolls! Seriously - the best cupcakes ever - and the staff is always super helpful and fun. They were also recently voted one of the best businesses of the interstate.

What a cute spot! We heard tons of buzz lately and decided to check it out.... we were not disappointed! There was a line out the door when we arrived, but the staff was friendly and efficient and kept everything moving smoothly, while still giving each customer full time and attention. Our initial visit was to try the cupcakes so we could test them for our upcoming wedding... we are sold! The cupcakes were some of the best we have ever tried... now we just have to pick the flavors. So far the Strawberry and the Lemon BlackBerry are leading the pack, but everything we bought was amazing! We also had to try the cinnamon rolls after reading the reviews.... absolutely incredible! I highly recommend this place.... worth the 30 minute drive for sure! We can’t wait to go back in warmer weather to try the ice cream!

Probably the best cupcakes ever. Great ice cream selections as well. Well worth jumping off the interstate in Annawan to take a break from driving.

We always enjoy our evening road trips to the coop. I usually don't even like cupcakes, but this place has changed my mind. Their homemade oatmeal cream pies are absolutely incredible. It's right off the interstate, so check em out!!

Paxton's is worth the trip from any mileage. These cupcakes are second to none and if you feel like a cinnamon roll..bring a wheel barrow..you'll either need it to get back to the car if you eat it there or need it to wheel the cinnamon roll out. It is that big!!

We are from out of state and we stumbled upon this awesome place my boys loved it we stayed in town and went back a few more times! It was just simply amazing and the girls working there and so sweet!

Caramel rolls are worth the 40 min drive. The cupcakes are moist but flavorless. The staff is great.

After hearing about this place repeatedly from family members, I had to give it a try. Glad I Did!Tucked away just off the beaten path, was this gem of a place. As soon as I opened the door, the smell of goodness smacked me across the face harder than when I used to talk back to my momma! Everyone inside was very welcoming and friendly. Even though others were patiently waiting, the staff took the time to make sure everyone in my large group was taken care of with equal time and respect. After buying damn-near one of everything in the store, I got to taste and little bit of everyone's items, instead of just one or two things. Each and every thing I tasted was Excellent! With the very affordable prices, great selection, and friendly staff I will keep this place in mind whenever I get back to this area again. Thank you Corner Coop!

We stopped by here on sight as we drove through Annawan for a camping trip at Johnson Sauk. There are a lot of props outside for taking photos, which we found fun since we had our dog with us. The inside is basically just a counter service with a small selection of ice cream, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and other desserts. We got a scoop of ice cream and some brownies to take with us to the campground. The ice cream was fine, nothing remarkable but it hit the spot with very little else to choose from in the area. The brownies were very good, and we enjoyed them all weekend. All in all, a fun little spot for dessert and we would definitely stop by again. TIP: They also have pup cups for the doggies.

We stopped through town and grabbed some ice cream and it was fantastic. I got a two scoop cone that was delicious. Paxton's only does one thing, desserts, and they do it well. Very limited seating and only outdoors but that does not hurt the experience. If you're in the area stop by and get something sweet. Highly recommend.

Cupcakes are always good. Homemade and moist with an ever changing variety. The lemon raspberry is one of the best. The other baked goods tend to be old and dry however so avoid them even if they look good. Icecream is good, but nothing special. Great for kids on a hot summer day.

Jolted cow is the best ice cream! Cinnamon rolls, caramel rolls, brownies, oatmeal cream pies to die for and cupcakes! If you're having a bad day stop in and get something sweet! I always bring my grandpa "gifts" from here! Well worth the drive!

Cute place, lots of porch for social distancing. Banana French toast icecream was awesome., so are the cupcakes! Totally worth the drive and wait. Friendly staff even when the were crazy busy.

Great little roadside corner ice cream shop and bakery. Very reasonably priced and great quality. Went with a group of 7, four adults and three kids. Everyone got something cold and/or sweet for under $20 combined and everyone loved it. The kitschy picture opportunities entertained everyone as well.

Never dissapointed with any of their sweet treats. They have mastered the art of a smooth airy buttercream for their moist cupcakes. The cinnamon rolls are best warmed up and makes me want to eat the icing out of a bowl. Many flavors of ice cream best served on a "slap your grandma" cookie sandwich! The owners are VERY inviting and always have a smile, as well the rest of the staff. Soooooo goood

Paxtons corner coop is the greatest single reason to take a country drive. If you're in a hurry I 80 is 30 seconds away, but I say take rt 6. The cupcakes are wonderful and folks rave about the cinnamon rolls. For me and everyone in my family the oatmeal cream pies are the pinnacle of their sweet treats! Be warned once you've had one you will find yourself looking for any and every reason to take a drive to Annawan Illinois.

Awesome little bakery & ice cream stop here. We'd driven by many times and finally decided to stop, glad we did. The ice cream was great, prices fair, lots of cupcake options and big cinnamon rolls. Add to that the cleanliness of the place and the friendly staff and you have every reason to stop here. Apparently a lot of people agree tho because there was a considerable line when we visited, mid afternoon on a Sunday.
